I can’t believe it’s already Thursday AGAIN!! Wasn’t it just Thursday like a few days ago? I don’t know, this week is flying by!
I’m also happy to report that I’m finally walking around again and bonus, it only took me a couple of agonizing days of crawling up the stairs, sliding down the banister, refusing to get up and get anything for myself (just kidding), and most importantly, using my Italian mastiff Prince as a crutch! I kind of leaned on him as I walked. Hehe!!
Let’s be honest, I felt like a kid again and it was great!!! Well, parts of it at least, like sliding down the banister!! WEEEEEEEE!!!!!
HOORAY, so that means it only took me a couple of days to get back to “normal,” if that’s what you’d call it…
Training long miles (even in the rainy cold) + loving it = normal???
More like, Having fun running lots and lots of miles – normal = ME!!! Right?
Although I still have a few aches and pains, I’m not doing too shabby!!!
DO YOU AGREE WITH THIS QUOTE?
“The loneliest people can be the kindest. The saddest people sometimes smile the brightest. The most damaged people are filled with wisdom. All because they do not wish the pain they’ve endured on another soul.” Timothy Delvecc
To be honest, this quote baffles me a bit! After each time I read it, I’m left wondering and saying, “Hmmmm” with my head turned to the side and my eyebrows all weird. It’s an interesting one, that’s for sure!
After all, What makes a person kind? Is it Loneliness? Empathy? Love?
What makes someone smile? Maybe Sadness? Hope? Warmth?
Damage instills wisdom? Hmmmm….
What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this quote or at least tell me…
WHY ARE YOU KIND?
